Privacy notice and cookies

Who we are

The data controller is Andrea Hamar PR, Staklorezačka radnja Hamar Glass Subotica, Otmara Majera 26, Subotica, Serbia (PIB 115950357). For all data protection matters: office@hamar-glass.com, +381 69 5701 878.

What data we collect

• Inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any files you attach.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to protect the form against abuse (rate limiting and a bot check). We do not build visitor profiles.
• Visit statistics: aggregated page-view statistics through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
• Only if you accept our cookie banner: Google Analytics, which sets cookies to recognize you across visits and measure aggregate traffic (see Cookies below).

Why we use it

• To answer your inquiry, prepare an offer and carry out the work you request (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
• To keep the website and our email secure and free of spam (our legitimate interest).
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used (our legitimate interest, for Vercel Web Analytics).
• To understand website traffic in more detail through Google Analytics — only with your consent, given via the cookie banner.

Who receives it

We use service providers that process data on our behalf: Resend (sending the confirmation email), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Cloudflare (Turnstile bot check) and our email hosting provider (Sybell), where inquiries arrive in our mailbox. If you accept the cookie banner, Google (Google Ireland Limited) also processes data through Google Analytics. Some of them may process data outside Serbia and the EU, based on the safeguards they provide (such as standard contractual clauses).

Files you attach go only to our office. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is needed to carry out a contract or is required by law (for example, accounting rules). After that they are deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• have it corrected or erased;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent, where processing is based on consent.

Write to office@hamar-glass.com. You may also complain to the supervisory authority: in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs); if you are in the EU, your national data protection authority.

Cookies

This website itself does not set cookies of its own. It stores one temporary item in your browser's session storage (your scroll position when you change language), which disappears when you close the tab.

Visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) and the bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) work, according to the providers' documentation, without cookies that identify or track you.

Google Analytics is different: if you accept it in the cookie banner (shown on your first visit), it sets:

• _ga — up to 2 years — distinguishes you from other visitors.
• _ga_<container ID> — up to 2 years — remembers your session state within a visit.

(Browsers may keep these for less than 2 years regardless — for example Chrome caps first-party cookies at 400 days, Safari at 7 days without a return visit.) For visitors in the EU, UK or Switzerland, Google does not store the IP address itself — only a coarse location (city/region/country) derived from it before the address is discarded.

Google Analytics only loads, and only sets these cookies, after you accept. You can decline, or change your mind at any time, via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
